There’s a specific kind of quiet that settles over a man.
It isn’t peace. It’s the silence of a guy who has decided, somewhere along the line, that saying the true thing out loud isn’t worth what it would cost him. So, he goes quiet about the debt. Quiet about the marriage. Quiet about the drinking, the doubt, and the fear that he’s already peaked, the thing he’s wanted to do for fifteen years and never said to a living soul.
He isn’t lying to anybody. He’s just not talking. And he tells himself that’s the same as being strong.
It isn’t. Silence is where limitation goes to live undisturbed. As long as a man says nothing, nothing has to change, and nothing does. Years pass that way. Decades.
Jim Britt has spent forty-four years and roughly two million people figuring out what breaks that silence. On September 14, he’s bringing it to our men.
Who Jim Britt Is
If you want to understand Jim Britt’s place in this field, don’t start with his books. Start with who was standing next to him.
- Business partner with the late Jim Rohn for eight years—and during those years, a young Tony Robbins worked under Jim’s direction in his first few years in the speaking business.
- Award-winning author of 15 bestselling books, including twelve #1 international bestsellers—among them Rings of Truth, The Power of Letting Go, Unleashing Your Authentic Power, Do This. Get Rich — For Entrepreneurs, The Entrepreneur, and the Cracking the Rich Code series.
- Success strategist to more than 300 corporations worldwide and named one of the world’s top 50 speakers and top 20 life and success coaches.
- Recipient of the “Best of the Best” award out of the top 100 all-time contributors to the direct selling industry.
- Forty-four years of seminars around the world—more than 5,000 audiences and close to two million people.
- Endorsed by a who’s who of the industry: Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Mark Victor Hansen, Les Brown, T. Harv Eker, Dr. Denis Waitley, and Kevin Harrington of Shark Tank. Mark Victor Hansen, who co-created Chicken Soup for the Soul, has called him a giant of a man and a giant thinker.
Sit with that last bullet for a second, because most people skim past it. Tony Robbins—the most recognized name in personal development on earth—came up working under Jim Britt. Jim Rohn, the philosopher who shaped an entire generation of speakers, was his business partner for eight years.
Jim Britt isn’t a student of this field. He’s one of the men who built it.
And here’s what’s remarkable: he’s still building. At an age when most men in his position would be licensing their back catalog, Jim is running masterminds, publishing new volumes, and putting new authors on the map. He never stopped doing the work.

What Jim Is Speaking On
Jim’s summit session goes straight at the thing underneath everything else:
What is keeping men silent—and the one step that breaks every limitation.
Notice the construction. Not some limitations. Not the professional ones or the financial ones. Every limitation.
That’s a bold claim, and Jim has earned the right to make it. Four decades of work on why people stay stuck has led him to the same root: it isn’t capability or opportunity. It’s the story a man carries about himself, one that he has never said out loud and therefore never challenged.
The story stays intact because it stays silent. Break the silence and the story loses its grip. That’s the step.
The Problem He’s Solving
Every man reading this has a ceiling he can feel and can’t name.
You’ve hit it before. You get within reach of something—a promotion, a reconciliation, a business you’ve thought about for years, a version of yourself you actually respect—and something invisible pulls you back down to a familiar level. Then you explain it away. Timing. Economy. Family obligations. Not the right season.
It happens again. And again. And the explanations get better every time.
What’s actually running is a limiter you inherited or installed a long time ago:
- Men in my family don’t do that.
- If they knew what I’m really like, this would all go away.
- I’ve already made my choices. This is what my life is now.
- I should be past this by now, so I can’t very well bring it up.
That last one is the trap that closes hardest on men in their forties and fifties. The longer you’ve been silent about something, the more embarrassing it feels to finally say it, so the silence compounds like interest on a debt.
Jim’s answer isn’t positive thinking. It’s excavation. He’ll show you how to find the story running underneath your results, and he’ll give you the one move that breaks its hold, because a limitation that gets spoken out loud has already begun to lose.
Why I Asked Him — and How We’re Working Together
Here’s something most people who follow my work don’t know.
The Power of Asking for Help didn’t start as a keynote. It started as a chapter — in Jim Britt’s book.
I was a coauthor in Cracking the Rich Code, Volume 11, the international bestselling series Jim created with Kevin Harrington from Shark Tank and endorsed by Tony Robbins. That chapter was the first time I ever put the idea on paper. The first time I tried to say plainly what I’d been watching in men for years: that the strength they’re looking for is on the other side of an ask they refuse to make.
I didn’t know what that chapter was. I thought it was a chapter.
It became the keynote. The keynote became this summit. The summit became American Family Renaissance, the organization that now carries this entire mission, with True Man Life Coaching residing underneath it. Every bit of it traces back to a page in one of Jim’s books.
That’s the whole lesson, and it’s the reason Jim belongs on this stage: you never know how a collaboration is going to work out. You can’t see it from the front end. You say yes to something that looks small, you lean on people who are further down the road than you, and the thing grows into something you couldn’t have designed on purpose. The only requirement is that you’re willing to lean.
I still work with Jim and his group every month in the Cracking the Rich Code Mastermind. Jim is a giant in personal development, one of the men who helped build this industry from the ground up, and he’s still investing in people who are earlier in the journey than he is. That’s not an obligation. That’s character.
When you get around great people like Jim, anything is possible. I don’t mean that as a slogan. I mean I have the receipts.
And look at the thread running through this lineup. Jim Rohn made Chris Widener his last protégé. Jim Britt was Jim Rohn’s business partner for eight years. Scott Schilling was mentored by Zig Ziglar, and Tom Ziglar is Zig’s son. Four of our first four speakers trace back to the two men who essentially founded modern personal development in America, and now they’re all pointing in the same direction, at the same problem, on the same day.
That’s not a booking coincidence. That’s a legacy converging. Zig and Rohn laid a foundation. These men have carried it. American Family Renaissance is building on it for a generation of men who need it more than their fathers did.
Jim breaks the silence. I’ll close the day with my keynote, The Power of Asking for Help, drawn from Cracking the Rich Code, the message that started as a chapter in his book.
Why You Should Be in the Room
If there’s something true about your life you have never said out loud to anyone, this session is for you.
If you keep arriving at the same ceiling in different clothes, this session is for you.
If you’ve quietly decided the version of you that had big plans isn’t coming back, this session is for you, and I’d argue you need it most.
Here’s what Jim’s session gives you:
- A clear look at what’s actually keeping you stuck—not the excuse you’ve refined, but the mechanism underneath it.
- The one step that breaks limitation, from a man who has tested it on close to two million people across forty-four years.
- Permission to say the thing. Sometimes that’s the entire breakthrough, and Jim will show you why.
